Terms of Service

By accessing or using ownstreet ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and ownstreet under Indian law.

You must be at least 13 years old to use ownstreet. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not impersonate another person or organization.
• You may not transfer your account without our written consent.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access.

You agree NOT to use ownstreet to:

• Sell or promote illegal products, services, or activities under applicable law
• Upload malware, malicious code, or harmful files
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Conduct scams, fraud, phishing, impersonation, or deceptive behavior
• Harass, threaten, or abuse users
• Attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or platform abuse

We may investigate and suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules, including associated pages and payouts where required.

You retain ownership of content you publish on ownstreet. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display content part of providing the Service.

You must have rights to all content you upload. ownstreet may remove content that violates law, third-party rights, or these Terms.

• Subscription fees are billed in INR based on the plan selected at checkout.
• ownstreet charges no platform commission on your product sales.
• Payment gateway charges (for example Razorpay fees) are separate and paid by you.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
• You can cancel anytime. Paid access continues until the current billing cycle ends.
• We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice.
• You are responsible for taxes, invoices, GST obligations, and legal compliance for your sales.

Pro subscriptions are processed by Razorpay. If you pay with UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or a bank app), your wallet or bank may show an autopay mandate or recurring payment permission. That display is controlled by your payment provider, not only by ownstreet.

• Cancelling Pro in ownstreet stops future renewals on our side and with Razorpay for that subscription.
• You are responsible for revoking or pausing the mandate in your wallet or bank app if autopay still appears there.
• We are not liable for debits initiated by your bank or wallet after you fail to revoke a mandate you left active, except where Indian law requires otherwise.
• For duplicate or incorrect charges, contact us promptly at ownstreet.in@gmail.com with your registered email and Razorpay payment ID.

When you sell digital products on your ownstreet page, you are the seller. Buyers pay you through Razorpay connected to your account. You set pricing, delivery, and your own refund rules for those sales.

• ownstreet is not a party to sales between you and your buyers.
• You must comply with applicable consumer, tax, and content laws for what you sell.
• You must not sell illegal, infringing, or deceptive products.
• Chargebacks, disputes, and buyer refunds for your products are primarily between you, the buyer, and Razorpay.

ownstreet integrates with third-party services such as payment processors and hosting providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, legal requirements, or create security/abuse risk. On termination, your public page may be disabled and data handled according to our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, specific results, or compatibility with every use case. We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ownstreet's aggregate liability arising from these Terms will not exceed the amount paid by you to ownstreet in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including losses from third-party payment apps, banks, chargebacks on your product sales, or your failure to revoke wallet mandates.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ownstreet from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your product sales, your tax or legal non-compliance, your breach of these Terms, or disputes with your buyers — except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct where liability cannot be excluded by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes, unless otherwise required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance of updated Terms.
