A coffee button is easy to paste into a bio. It only works in India if the person tapping it can pay with a method Ko-fi actually offers, and if you can receive that money. Their help describes a short list of processors. Start there, not with a vibe about tips.

Does Ko-fi work in India?
It can, if PayPal or Stripe will pay you. Ko-fi's get-paid article says funds go straight to the PayPal or Stripe account you connect. They are not holding a Ko-fi balance. The same article says PayPal and Stripe take their normal processing fees, and that Ko-fi has its own service fee. The live percent did not load in this check. Read it on ko-fi.com. Do not copy a percent from another blog.

A simple test before you delete the coffee link
- Open your Ko-fi page on a phone that only has UPI. If you cannot finish as that fan, do not send traffic there.
- If PayPal or Stripe already pays you and your buyers use cards, you can keep the button for those buyers.
- For the file your Indian audience wants, publish one product, price it in INR, and buy it yourself on mobile data.
- Leave the old link up for a week. Watch completed payments, not taps.
- Setup notes: Razorpay for digital products and bank payouts.

If replies already say 'send the template' or 'how much for the PDF,' the coffee button is answering a different question. Thank-you money and a priced file can both exist. They should not share one vague link. Write the offer in one sentence, put the rupee price in the bio, and keep the tip button only for people who have already paid you that way.

- One price in INR, visible before they tap pay.
- One test purchase on mobile data, including the download.
- One week with both links, then keep the link that produces a completed payment.

FAQ: Ko-fi in India
Is Ko-fi banned in India?
Their help does not describe a ban. It describes PayPal and Stripe as the way you get paid. If neither account will receive for you, the page will not pay you.
Can supporters pay Ko-fi with UPI?
UPI is not named in the payment-methods article we read. Confirm on the live help page. Do not tell a PhonePe user the coffee button will work until you have completed that payment yourself.
Should I delete Ko-fi?
